

CPP is looking for an HR Assistant II with experience in international HR, visa issues, workers’ compensation administration, benefits administration, COBRA, hiring/onboarding, termination, and compensation research.
Tasks
- Hiring: post available positions, administer and track applications, coordinate background checks, handle new-hire paperwork, and perform handbook and benefits orientation
- Perform wage and salary tracking
- Maintain and update job descriptions
- Coordinate H1B and O visa applications with immigration attorney
- Administer workers’ compensation claims
- Coordinate benefits enrollment
- 401(k) administration and coordination with Board of Trustees
- Termination: administer exit interviews for voluntary terminations, coordinate COBRA applications, coordinate unemployment benefits claims
- Handle petty cash
- Communicate HR-related information, requirements, and changes to leadership and staff
- Assist with planning and execution of company-wide employee events
- 6-8 hours per week of administration support, as HR duties allow
Requirements
- 3-5 years of HR administrative experience
- Experience with international HR issues, including visa applications
- Up-to-date knowledge of employment law
- Ability to coordinate multiple HR-related vendor relationships
- Experience with benefits administration
- Ability to communicate complex HR issues clearly and concisely
- Knowledge of HR best practices
