Exhaust dispersion

A common problem affecting many buildings is that the exhaust/air intake systems do not account for the effects of wind on and near the site. A building can re-entrain the exhaust it produces or the exhaust can pollute nearby buildings and surroundings.

Consult CPP early in the design process to help:

In commercial buildings, problems with exhaust dispersion can affect retail revenues and occupant productivity. In hospitals and laboratories, occupant health can be threatened and exhaust/intake design becomes crucial.
