CPP at PNWIS

Hear from CPP experts at the PNWIS 2017 Annual Conference

The 57th Pacific Northwest International Section (PNWIS) conference will be held November 1-3, 2017 in Boise, Idaho. The conference is typically attended by 200–300 representatives of a wide range of environmental professions.

This year, CPP experts will attend in force.

  • Thursday, November 2, 9 AM, Ron Peterson will discuss “An Improved Version of AERMOD/PRIME for Porous Structures,” and Sergio Guerra will talk about “Using Physical Modeling to Evaluate Reentrainment of Stack Emissions.”
  • Thursday, November 2, 1:30 PM, Sergio Guerra will chair a waste management discussion among multiple experts, with topics including changes to federal hazardous waste generator rules, China’s upcoming recycling problem, and indoor levels of formaldehyde and other pollutants and their relationship to air exchange rates and human activities.
  • Friday, November 3, 9 AM, Ron Peterson will discuss “PRIME2: Development and Evaluation of Improved Building Downwash Algorithms for Rectangular, Porous and Streamlined Structures,” and Sergio Guerra will talk about “PRIME2: Consequence Analysis and Model Evaluation.”

 

Friday, November 3, 10:45 AM, Ron Peterson will chair a discussion among multiple experts about BACT/RACT, with topics including “RACT Analysis Results for Recovery Boiler and Lime Kiln Emissions in Washington State,” “Septage processing and air quality,” and “Spray Coating, VOC control, and BACT.”
